each SLOB is a neural reconstruction of a solana monkey. the model is bad on purpose. where it gets the pixel wrong — that's the SLOB. fuse two slobs and you blend their embeddings into a new face.
our model was trained on 5000 solana monkeys and immediately forgot how to draw monkeys. accuracy: 95.31% · that's 27 wrong pixels per slob on average. the wrong ones are the whole point.

Merging slobs is free progression — it costs no tokens and pays no tokens. Every fusion just blends traits and levels the survivor up. The reward is downstream: when your blended survivor matches one of the 36 named recipes in the bestiary, the first crafter claims a 1M → 20M $SLOB bounty. Spin economics stay separate: 80% burn / 20% pool on each pull fee.
